So it turns out you can get a used 24-105 F/4L IS USM lens for about $320-400. Is it worth it at that price? My current main lens is the EF-S 18-135 F/3.5-5.6 IS nanoUSM. Shooting on a Canon 7dMk2 (though I'd like to upgrade to a C100 mkii at some point).

It’ll be a great hiking or travel lens that gives you more range than the 24-70 when you’re not likely to be using 2.8. Truth is I hardly ever shoot at 2.8 on the Tamron; I usually stop it down to f4 or 5.6 as I noticed that it's sharper at those focal lengths. Yes, 24-105 for outdoor and 24-70 for indoor. Nope.
